Happy New Year!
the new year has arrived!!! errr. okie la. not very happy because i will be older by one year. i don't wanttttt my age to hit a twooooo. =(
was at ECP yesterday with cy and gang. there were ten of us i think. reached there at about 4 plus pm. rented bikes overnight at $6!! but the bikes weren't very good. oh well, what can i expect from a $6 bike ? haha. =X
spent the next few hours cycling. cycled all the way to SAFRA resort. ooOOh! i love cycling. haven't done it in ages. the last time i cycled was during last year's 4a chalet. cycled all the way to Changi Airport and watched planes flew by in the middle of the night. haha. i like the peacefulness i feel when i'm cycling. i really felt at ease then; i could forgo all my worries. and the wind that touches my face was sooo refreshing! although it can get dirty at times because of the smoke from bbq pits. hahaha.
after cycling, we went BK to eat. had a mushroom swiss meal~ so yummy! i love the cheeseeee! love the mushrooms!! *drools* settled at an area away from the pits. set up a tent but luis forgotten to bring the waterproof sheet. lOl. tied two hammocks between two trees. haha. it was my first time sleeping on the hammock and i liked it! haha. i want a hammock in my house! =x
when it was midnight, all of us launched ten rockets made from sparklers. haha. well, mine couldn't fly. =x i don't know whyyyy! =( managed to catch a glimpse of the fireworks display at marina. it was so pretty. i was so touched that i nearly teared. exaggerating but it's true. red lights dotted the sky as ships out at sea sent out flares to welcome the new year. as i looked beyond the ships, i also saw the fireworks display from Indonesia i think. pretty pretty!!! =) played with sparklers for a while and made a few new year wishes. lala.
anyway i was supposed to go home at 1am this morning. but made my way home only at 7am. couldn't get a taxi as many people were vying for them then. but mainly, i injured myself so i wasn't in the right condition to hunt for more taxis. zc offered to ferry me from the carpark to McDonald's. i sat at the part between the front wheel and the seat. we were both in an awkward position so i tried to shift to get a right position. but my feet went too near the front wheel. so my slipper got caught and so was my foot. ARGHS. what a way to usher in the new year. haha. had a patch of blue-black on my ankle and three wound markings on my right big toe. hai. luckily there was no fracture. and i think i was in a total state of shock yesterday. because i was felt queasy and wanted to vomit after the whole incident. haha.
but still, HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE! =)
