yeayea

i'm tired but i can't get to sleep and i started reading my old entries. haha. i came across this wish list. wahaha. let's see if i have gotten everything.

tulips-are-red's Wish List

1) 1 million dollars (a definite not-yet. not even in my dreams.)
2) a halter-type vest (yups. YEAH!)
3) y-shaped suspenders (i can't carry it off. so dropped it.)
4) a car (petrol's expensive now, about SGD$2 a litre. so forget it.)
5) to be pimple-free (haha. forget it too. been sleeping late.)
6) a nice pair of lady's slippers (well.. i have gotten the pumps. then again, a woman's desire for shoes will never be truly satisfied.)
7) a brown belt with big buckle (yups. but quite flimsy. zzz. cheapo ma.)
8) a stalk of sunflower that will not wither for all eternity (a sunflower that resides in our hearts.)

- What is true success in life? It's winning in your battle with yourself. Those who persist in the pursuit of their dreams, no matter what the hurdles, are winners in life, for they have won over their weaknesses.

We should all be like the sunflower - always facing the sun, never at the shadow.
