movies.

caught enchanted on tues. the plot was predictable at the beginning, a slight twist at the end.

talks about a scheming step-mother who sent a to-be-princess, giselle to the real world because she wanted the throne. giselle came to the real world not knowing what to do and there she met robert and his daughter, morgan. robert's wife had left him. thus, from that moment on, he did not believe in happily-ever-afters and forbade morgan to indulge in fairytales. the movie showed the kind of impact giselle had made on their lives and how robert taught her stuffs on the practicality of real life. both of them falls in love at the end [obviously] and stayed together. the prince who came to giselle's rescue is obviously a himbo. haha. i can't stand his no-brain-ness. but that contributed partly to the humor of the movie. i loved the chipmunk! it was super hilarious seeing him act out the plot put together by the scheming stepmother to the prince.

the show makes you wanna fantasize about all the ideal stuff which will definitely not happen. the story was resolved in a nice way. learnt a few lessons from the movie. it's definitely not good to be tooooo bimbo. hahaha. but it's good to look at things simply sometimes. and don't be too pessimistic about things. yeah.

caught the sneak preview of alvin and the chipmunks yesterday. plot's definitely predictable. theme revolved around kinship ties.

the movie is on 3 chipmunks who were sick of living in the woods and wanted something more exciting. they landed themselves in the city and a guy [i can't remember his name] took care of them. the chipmunks sang and shot to fame. this guy was like a father to them but he didn't want to admit it, much to the disappointment of the chipmunks, especially theodore. influenced by external, tangible factors [eg. toys], they left him and went to live with uncle ian, manager of jett records, who abused them. uncle ian tried to sow discord between them too. how the chipmunks managed to escape ian wasn't done well and the way the story was resolved was a lil.. abrupt. anyway, is alvin supposed to be the leader of the trio? cuz i didn't feel that in the movie.

ehh. but i loved the songs! haha so cute. and i love theodoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. so chubby and innocent. *faints*

wheeeeeeeeeeee! i'm flying off tonite. pls miss me. ha.
