=)
i'm really glad i went to see Shunzo Ohno's performance yesterday. he's a renowned jazz trumpetist from Japan but had lived in America for quite some time. once a drug addict which rendered him poor and unable to support his passion for music; a car accident victim whose lip was damaged, leaving him the inability to play on his trumpet; a terminally-ill cancer patient with a big tumor near the throat, life was an endless struggle for him. he was prevented from pursuing his passion. however, through pure faith, sheer determination, perseverance and a lil stubborn-ness (=P), he managed to overcome all the obstacles standing in his way. not only was he able to pursue his passion, he was also able to become a renowned jazz artiste today. his passion for music is really admirable. he's such an inspiration to me.
