worked on friday. could sense displeasure from my supervisor when i told him why i couldn't work on friday and saturday nights. but aiya, i can't do much too. heck. salsa was fun today. learnt more kinds of turns and put everything we have learnt together, non-choreo. haha. was utterly confused and i think i've confused my partners. wahaha. =X i love my instructors!


had MILKrun training again at Bishan Park. zz. damn far but i will do anything to see my cute guy! haha. he didn't turn up. zzzzzzzzz. anyway. i was kidding about do-anything-to-see-cute-guy part. met a girl who is doing psych too but i didn't see her before. haha. played touch rugby. didn't enjoy it though. can't outrun guys.

went home to bathe before going out for NDP training. this time it was held at Marina. haha. coOl! floating platforms and bridges. great scenery. watched the run of the parade while eating dinner. free entertainment and preview! haha. the parachutes were great! shan't divulge more. most segments are retained but it will also be a refreshing one! haven't felt this way in a long time. exhilaration and at the same time, nervousness before a performance. the last time i felt this way was during YCF, 2001. i'm sure the feeling will get stronger as the actual day draws near. waaaa. WHOOSH!

dragged myself out of bed for Lions Befriender. the dance we put up was chaotic. haha. but what mattered most was that we had fun and i'm sure we all did. the "Superstar" segment was cOol! NUSSD actually had alot of hidden talents. haha. i should brush up on teochew and learn more dialects. it was a challenge communicating with them. the uncle who i talked too the last time looked better today. seemed more cheerful. i'm not very good at socializing with people and talking to them. can't seem to make the uncle smile the last time but my friend of mine did it effortlessly. haha. i wish i could be like that. it was so nice to see him smile. talked to an elderly volunteer. she had 4 children; all of them being high-flyers. doctors, professors and a dentist. waaaa. she herself is healthy mentally and physically. youthful. looked like a 60 year old when she is actually 84. loved playing Sudoku. mans. i can't even finish one page. faced illnesses bravely and overcame them. good spirit! should learn from her. she has good family karma. very lucky woman. we should all learn from her spirit!

evelyn and foong yee home-visited me. talked about duties and difficulties being a CIC. talked about the concert foong yee emcee-ed in Trengganu. talked about holiday plans. many many things. benefitted alot from the talk. really thank them for coming down specially. both of them lived far away from me. Evelyn had Lions Befriender earlier and NDP the day before too, so it was very tiring for her. many thank yous! i'm sooo glad we are both CICs. we can help each other out now. i'm sooo glad that i've attended the SD orientation last year. otherwise i wouldn't have met her. i wouldn't be motivated to come out for SD activities. i wouldn't even try to be active too. i wouldn't know all the nice people in SD. i'm so glad. this is a good fortune for me indeed.
