party wa, totemo tanoshii desu!
it is the eve of Christmas eve today! but am not really looking forward to this year's Christmas. why ? 1) no mood 2) after Christmas, bidding starts. super sian.
anyway, i still went for the Christmas party organised by lee sensei. eileen and i were actually quite excited about it 'cuz of the food we will be eating. =x lol. we are greedy people. shhh.
to go to lee sensei's house, one must be extremely fit. hahaha. if you walk in slowly, i think you will need 15min to get there. her tower is situated at the far end of Pandan Valley Condo. taking a walk through the blocks felt like a walk through a resort. haha. and i saw my dream home there! i only took a glance inside but it is very nicely furnished and very cosy. a snug place to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and cuddle cuddle. lalala. so nice.
was welcomed by my sensei's son. was swept away on first glance. 'cuz he's not bad looking. WAHAHAHA. but i think he's in the army. saw his uniform. saw some cute guys at the party too, especially the one who had a towel wrapped around his head. he rides a motorbike! lol. cool~
tried my hand at making a onigiri. haha. i think it looked quite cute. hahaha. there was a fine spread of food. besides onigiris, we could make our own handrolls from a selection of ingredients. oOooOo. i love the tamago and sashimi spread! *drools* there's vegetable topped with bonito flakes. totemo oiishiI desu! there's mashed potato, fried chicken and ham. yum yum! saw darryl san and hong wei san. darryl san just came back from an exchange in Osaka. I WANT TO GO JAPAN. *envious*
there's games after food. the people there were very sporting. there's hardly any embarrassing silence and the party was very enjoyable. lee sensei taught us 3 japanese songs, 2 of which are songs sang during her wedding. so sweet! her daughter's really talented. she can play the guitar and i think the piano too. lee sensei and her husband can really sing! so niceeee. after caroling, she shared with us her life story. she came from a dysfunctional family; her dad was an alcoholic and abusive. she talked about her school life; how she strive on to prove to people that she's not someone to be looked down upon; how she yearned to have a father's love; how she felt when her dad finally died of cancer. she was close to tears at one point of time. i was moved by her story. then, she started bringing in Christianity, God and Jesus. that's when i started to feel kinda uncomfortable. i know it wasn't intentional but it just sounded like preaching to me. but oh well, i can't be rude and walk off right ? anyway, i enjoyed myself tremendously today. tanoshii desu!!!
side-track a little bit: who is the ASSHOLE who came up with the word FUCK? the person ought to be shot. I HATE BEING SCOLDED FUCK time and time again. using it is easy but you don't know how it feels like to be scolded that. YOU FUCKING ASS. DAMN YOU. FUCK OFF BASTARD.
